Burçak is an experienced marketing, innovation, and sales professional with over 15 years of expertise across the Consumer Goods and Footwear industries. With a solid background in brand management, she has successfully launched numerous products and crafted effective B2B and B2C marketing and sales strategies throughout her career.
Her journey commenced at Unilever Turkey, where she held various roles within the Foods Marketing department. Transitioning from her corporate role as the Lipton Brand Manager to entrepreneurial endeavors, she ventured into her family’s fourth-generation footwear business in Turkey. She managed the B2B consultancy services and e-commerce departments over 10 years.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Burçak has long been dedicated to philanthropy, actively engaging in social responsibility projects since high school. She was a course assistant for Civic Involvement Projects at Sabancı University . She assumed leadership role as a class representative at the Izmir American Collegiate Institute in 2012, where she started scholarship initiatives. She was appointed as one of the USA country leads for ACI Alumni in 2024. Furthermore, she actively participated in TAIDER, the Turkish Family Business Network until 2022.
Burçak is the president of the R&D Committee of TASEV (Turkish Shoe Sector Development Foundation) and is a member of the Supervisory Board of TASEV. She has been contributing to shaping the footwear industry landscape.
Burçak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Sabancı University and has furthered her education with an executive MBA from Boğaziçi University. Complementing her academic background, she has augmented her skill set with a Certificate in Digital Marketing Strategies: Data, Automation, Ai & Analytics from Northwestern University.
