1Who can become a TPF partner?
Any nonprofit (Vakıf, Dernek, Kooperatif or Spor Kulübü) registered and operating in Türkiye that is non-political, non-religious, and committed to transparency, accountability, and measurable impact.
2What is the vetting process?
Our vetting includes a review of your organization’s legal registration, financial health, governance practices, and program impact. This ensures donors can give with confidence and know their contributions create real change.
3How long does the application process take?
Once all required documents are submitted, reviews are typically completed within 2–4 weeks.
4Do we need to reapply every year?
No. Once approved, you remain part of TPF’s partner network. However, partners must resubmit updated information annually, such as financial statements and governance documents to remain in good standing.
5What funding opportunities are available for partners?
Partners can benefit from multiple funding streams:
• Fundraising Pages: Host your own page on TPF’s platform and receive tax-deductible donations directly from U.S. donors.
• Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs): Become eligible to receive donor-directed grants.
• Designated & Field-of-Interest Funds: Access funding for specific causes such as education, disaster recovery, or women’s empowerment.
• Corporate & Foundation Partnerships: Join initiatives sponsored by corporate and foundation donors.
• Disaster & Urgent Needs Funds: Apply for rapid-response funding during crises.
6Is there a fee to become a partner?
There is no cost to apply or to be vetted. TPF applies a modest administrative fee only when processing donations, which covers compliance, due diligence, and operational support.
7How do U.S. donors support us through TPF?
Donations made through TPF are tax-deductible in the U.S. Once your organization is approved, donors can give directly through your fundraising page, designate you through their DAF, or support you via TPF’s campaigns.
8Besides funding, how does TPF support partners?
We provide learning opportunities (webinars, gatherings, curated resources), site visits to strengthen collaboration, visibility among global donors, and access to a network of NGOs and philanthropic partners.
9Who should we contact with questions?
For more information, reach out to our Programs Lead, Seval Gulen Arıkan.
10What kind of reporting is expected from partners?
TPF requires partners to submit narrative and financial reports for each funded project, outlining activities, outcomes, and lessons learned. This ensures accountability to our donors and allows us to showcase your impact. Reporting requirements are designed to be clear and proportional to the size and scope of the grant, and we provide guidance and templates to support you.
11Can non-partner organizations receive funding from TPF?
No. Only vetted partner organizations are eligible to receive funding from TPF. This ensures that every grant meets compliance standards and that donor contributions are directed to transparent, accountable, and mission-driven NGOs.
However, in certain cases—particularly during emergencies—non-partner organizations may apply for support while beginning the partnership process simultaneously. We clearly state if this is an option in the application form. This allows us to respond quickly to urgent needs while maintaining the high standards of accountability required for long-term partnership.
12What kind of visibility or promotional support does TPF offer to its partners?
Partners benefit from increased visibility among TPF’s global donor network. We highlight partners through:
• Fundraising pages on our platform where donors can give directly.
• Features in newsletters and social media, sharing your stories with a wider audience.
• Events and campaigns where your work may be spotlighted to inspire support.
Our goal is to amplify your mission, connect you with new supporters, and showcase your impact to a global community.
