What difference could a tablet make in an earthquake zone? For a child with autism and their family, facing disrupted routines and homes they cannot return to, it can do wonders.
A tablet is more than just a source of entertainment. Sometimes, it’s an educational tool that helps strengthen a child’s brain development. Sometimes, it’s music that gently stimulates and calms. And sometimes, it’s simply a much-needed distraction amid the rubble – something to hold onto after losing a favorite toy in the chaos.
With support from the TPF Earthquake Fund, the Tohum Autism Foundation has reached 2,000 children, helping strengthen their mental and emotional well-being, as well as that of their families.
Each tablet might be only 12 inches long, but the impact goes farther than we could all imagine. Thank you for giving them a new source of comfort and a new routine as they rebuild their lives.
