GENDER EQUALITY
Gender inequalities are deeply rooted in attitudes, institutions, and market forces in our society. So closing the gender gap is about changing these norms and expectations about female and male roles, and ultimately changing power relations.
To close the gender gap, at TPF we invest in improving education for girls, removing constraints for more and better jobs for women, enhancing women’s presence in key decision-making, and engaging men and boys in all these through our partners in Türkiye. DISASTER RELIEF
In times of disaster, effective communication and coordination amongst various actors such as local officials, NGOs, companies, and volunteers are essential for effective relief and recovery efforts.
To solve this problem, TPF and Needs Map have teamed up to develop the “Disaster Response Map (Afet Haritasi)”, a digital platform that can track all actors providing support in real-time, to increase efficiency and minimize duplications in aid and action.
