As 2018 comes to a close, I wanted to personally thank you for your generous support to Turkish Philanthropy Funds this year.
Because of you, our community of TPF donors, volunteers, and partners has had a tremendous impact. We have mobilized more than $32 million since 2007 to benefit incredible projects and inspiring leaders in Turkey and around the world.
Turkey was in the news often this year. But what’s missed by the headlines is the great work happening in communities because of engaged philanthropists like you. These are the inspiring stories of students who are able to study advanced STEM thanks to a generous scholarship. Or the important work to help refugee families cope with rebuilding their lives. And efforts to showcase the richness of Turkish culture and arts.
Our communities are better for your involvement and we are grateful that you’re part of TPF’s wider mission.
When we began, 11 years ago, this group was the dream of a few Turkish-Americans. But through the energy and involvement of people like you, that dream has grown into a significant reality. Today, thousands of people around the United States celebrate generosity by giving their time, money, and voices to support the organizations they love through TPF. They help us address pressing and difficult challenges.
There’s so much more to do. So, thank you for contributing to Turkish Philanthropy Funds and for inspiring generosity in the people around you.
