Thank you to all who celebrated with us at the Excellence in Philanthropy Awards Gala on November 6. This year we recognized Demet Sabanci Cetindogan as the 2018 recipient of the Philanthropist of the Year Award and celebrated her philanthropic achievements. We were also incredibly honored to be joined by Prof. Dr. Ilber Ortayli, a renowned scholar and historian whose speech not only advanced our knowledge but inspired us.
The Gala was a true celebration of our past, present, and future, and our collective accomplishments. For the past 11 years, TPF has been here to listen, learn, share and engage with those who have chosen us as their partner in philanthropy. As a result, we have invested more than $18M in more than 50 organizations working across 70+ cities in the United States and Turkey. At the Gala we recognized how these forward-thinkers have shaped our success, and how their work positioned us for a vibrant future. The story of philanthropy in our communities both in Turkey and in the US is evolving. And, we couldn’t be more proud to bring this story to life with our community.
