Mehmet Lütfi Kirdar serves as the Co-Chair of the TPF Board. He joined the Turkish Philanthropy Funds Board of Directors in 2012 and has served as its Chair between 2016 and 2022. He is an active member of the Turkish-American philanthropic community; a former President of Turkish-American Forum, a Young Society Leader of the American-Turkish Society, and a John Whitehead Fellow at Foreign Policy Association. Currently, Mr. Kirdar is the President of Shepherd Futures, a Family Office based in New York. He is a graduate of Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He holds a Master of International Affairs degree in International Finance and Banking from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
