WE AMPLIFY EVERY DONATION

Turkish Philanthropy Funds is a nonprofit. Our partnership program is free to join, and we don’t charge an application or subscription fee. Instead, we retain a 5% nonprofit support fee on donations, plus transaction processing fees. But we’re committed raising even more money for your organization than we retain in fees. In 11 years, TPF granted over $17million to its partners in Turkey.

FAQ

How does TPF choose its partners?

TPF’s Partners Program is open to organizations based and operating in Turkey without political or religious affiliations. All recipient organizations in Turkey must meet TPF’s eligibility process to receive funding. This vetting process includes an initial discovery interview and a review of financials, governance and programs. Approved organizations are qualified to receive
funding and are highlighted on our website. They are required to update their information annually.

How are grants made?

All grants made by TPF require a grant agreement. Every grant is approved by Board of Directors or Executive Committee members. Once the project is completed, a final grant report is requested and submitted by the grantee organization. The final report received is shared with the donor.

How can organizations apply for TPF funding?

  • Competitive Grantmaking: Organizations respond to our “Call for Proposals.”
  • Donor-Advised Funds: Organizations can receive funding through various philanthropic funds.
  • Pass through Grantmaking: Organizations can create a crowdfunding page on TPF’s website and any funds raised will be disbursed bi-annually.

I am very passionate about one specific project, how can TPF help me gather support?

We can help you leverage your impact about the specific project you are passionate about. Our professional staff members can guide you in various ways you can donate, fundraise or create giving circle to maximize your impact.

What if an organization I want to donate is not included in your partner list?

When an organization is not one of our partner organizations, we require a minimum initial donation of $10,000 and donation will be accepted following our due diligence process.

You can donate to any of the organization listed on our partner list at www.tpfund.org.
