The TPF Changemaker Scholarship in Honor of Turkish Medical Doctors creates a meaningful path to preserve the legacy of physicians who came to the United States from Türkiye in the 1950s–1960s.
Through this fund, families and friends can pay tribute to the doctors who shaped their lives while supporting medical students of Turkish heritage as they pursue their education and dreams in the United States. Each contribution carries forward a loved one’s legacy, transforming it into encouragement, opportunity, and inspiration for the next generation.
This collective scholarship fund unites donors in honoring the lasting impact of these physicians within their communities, while opening doors for students who aspire to follow in their footsteps. All gifts are combined into a shared fund, enabling us to award meaningful scholarships in the names of all participating doctors together—amplifying both reach and impact.

The TPF Changemaker Scholarship in Honor of Turkish Medical Doctors is a pooled, collective fund where donors come together to honor the contributions of physicians in their communities while opening doors for students who aspire to follow in their footsteps.
With an annual gift of $1,000 or more, you can honor a doctor’s name in this shared tribute—whether a beloved family member, mentor, or a physician whose care touched your life. All contributions are combined to support meaningful scholarships in the name of participating doctors, expanding both reach and impact.
Each doctor honored will be recognized on the Medical Changemakers Honor Roll on TPF’s website and in the Annual Report, with the inscription: “Honored by the family and friends of Dr. [Name].” This shared recognition reflects the collective strength of the fund: many families, many stories, one united legacy.
