24th Round Grants from TPF Earthquake Fund

We’re delighted to announce the 24th round of grants from TPF’s Türkiye Earthquake Fund. Since February 6, 2023, TPF has awarded 174 grants to 93 organizations, totaling $16 million and improving the lives of 2.6 million people in the earthquake-affected region.

 

$73,081 to YÖRET(Foundation of the Societal Development and Education) – To support 30 psychosocial support providers in post-earthquake Hatay through training, supervision, and self-care activities to strengthen their capacity and well-being.

 

$140,500 to TEGV – To deliver mobile, inclusive education to 800 children aged 6–14 in earthquake-affected and disadvantaged areas—including the children of seasonal agricultural workers—through TEGV’s “Firefly” education trucks, aiming to improve academic skills, emotional well-being, and equal learning opportunities.

 

$97,302 to YAPDER(Yeni Arayışlar Girisimi Platformu Derneği) – To  support the psychosocial well-being, resilience, and long-term development of children and youth in earthquake-affected Hatay through wave surfing, leadership training, and educational activities.

 

$51,374 to ESYAD</strong> – To support people with disabilities and their caregivers through psychosocial support, accessibility improvements, capacity-building, and livelihood activities—promoting inclusive, community-based recovery in earthquake-affected areas.

 

$50,000 to Yuvam Dunya – To support women and youth in three earthquake-affected provinces by combining mental health support with green entrepreneurship training, aiming to strengthen emotional recovery and economic independence through a pilot model.

 

$47,500 to People of Solidarity Association– To turn a local civil society office in Adıyaman into a youth and community hub offering workshops, psychosocial support, and vocational training to strengthen youth engagement, emotional well-being, and civil society collaboration in the post-earthquake recovery.

 

$108,223 to Buradayiz Hatay– To transform the Buradayız Hatay Center into a youth and community hub offering education, psychosocial support, cultural activities, and small business support—promoting recovery, resilience, and economic sustainability in post-earthquake Hatay.

 

$115,203 to Mavi Kalem Association– To economically empower 255 women in Hatay who were affected by the February 6, 2023 earthquakes.

 

$35,000 to Samandag Sports Club– To support over 1,500 children—especially girls and children with special needs—through inclusive sports, psychosocial support, family activities, and child-led committees, while partnering with local organizations to ensure access to education, health, and social inclusion.

 

$124,700 to Teachers Network</strong> – To maintain and expand a teacher support hub in Hatay, providing psychosocial support, peer collaboration, and professional development for 1,000 educators—helping restore well-being and strengthen education in the post-earthquake context.

 

$149,040 to World Human Relief – To provide trauma-focused mental health and psychosocial support in Hatay through free therapy and workshops, reaching over 250 earthquake survivors—including women, children, and marginalized groups—at WHR’s prefabricated center in Antakya.

 

$75,941 to Rimmen’s Women’s Initiative Production and Business Cooperative</strong> – To economically empower 80 women in Samandağ, Hatay, by strengthening the Rimmen Women’s Cooperative through new product development, skill-building workshops, marketing support, and institutional capacity building.

 

$50,784 to SistersLab– To support the long-term recovery of youth—especially women—in Adıyaman by establishing an Innovation and Career Center at Adıyaman University.

 

$54,980 to City Detective: City, Environment and Art Association – To promotes children’s participation in urban life through weekly workshops in Hayat Park, a community space co-designed with local children.

 

24,194 to Sulukule Volunteers Association – To supports the psychosocial well-being of children aged 10–18 in post-earthquake Hatay through rights-based creative workshops and the production of a child-led short film.
