Mehmet Lütfi Kirdar serves as the Chairman of the Board. He joined the Turkish Philanthropy Funds Board of Directors in 2012. He is an active member of the Turkish-American philanthropic community; a former President of Turkish-American Forum, a Young Society Leader of the American-Turkish Society, and a John Whitehead Fellow at Foreign Policy Association.

Mr. Kirdar is a Financial Advisor at a leading financial services firm in New York and has over 15 years of investment experience. He is a graduate of Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He holds a Master of International Affairs degree in International Finance and Banking from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Mr. Kirdar and his wife, Audrey, reside with their two children in New York City.
