Erinch R. Özada is the Chairman of AZVA Overseas & Trading Ltd., a global trading, consulting and development company.

Mr Ozada was born in 1959 in what is today Turkish Northern Cyprus. He completed secondary school in the United States (TC Williams High School, National Honor Society) and then attended Hamilton College (BA, magna cum laude, 1982, Economics and Political Science) and Columbia University (MBA, Honors, 1984, International Finance). Mr Ozada joined Goldman Sachs in New York, rising to become Vice President of its Private Wealth Management Division, and over time, managed discretionary investment accounts in excess of US$1 billion. He ultimately declined partnership at Goldman Sachs in order to establish his own fund management business.

In 1996, Mr Ozada founded Archery Capital of which he was the Chairman and CEO for more than a dozen years. Archery Capital was enormously successful and was for a number of years one of the most successful hedge funds in the United States based on its return to investors.

Upon his marriage to his Turkish wife in 2007, Mr Ozada relocated to Istanbul and is now the proud father of two sons.

Mr Ozada has a long and distinguished record of professional, public, and philanthropic activities. He is a frequent guest lecturer at Hamilton College. Mr Ozada was for a number of years a member of the Board of Directors of the American Field Service-USA. He also served as Vice-Chairman of the Turkish Philanthropic Fund (TPF) which was organized to support charities in Turkey. He has created the Ozada Scholarship which provides support both at Turkish schools and at schools in Europe and the United States. He is an active member of the Istanbul Bosphorus Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO/WPO), of Galata Business Angels (GBA) and is a founding member of Columbia University Global Center in Istanbul.
