Mr. Koc is an angel investor with the Keiretsu Forum and is a business strategy consultant to small companies and to non-profits. He was the founding partner in the establishment of the Keiretsu Forum Istanbul chapter in Sep 2012. From 2001-2007, Mr. Koc served as CFO of ChildCare Careers, a successful temporary staffing agency that was later bought by two private equity firms.
Previously, he held senior executive positions in a number of semiconductor firms in Silicon Valley. He was the former President and CEO of BitBlitz Communications of Fremont, CA., a venture-funded semiconductor start-up; former Senior Vice President and General Manager of ZiLOG’s Home Entertainment Group and the former President of the Optical Storage Group at Oak Technology. Mr. Koc also held executive positions at LSI Logic for a decade. Earlier in his career, he was a management consultant with Boston Consulting Group and Booz, Allen & Hamilton, advising Fortune 1000 companies worldwide.
Mr. Koc is a valedictorian of Tarsus American College in Turkey, received graduate and undergraduate degrees in Electronics Engineering with high honors from Middle East Technical University and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
