Van Earthquake Relief Fund The Problem Addressed by the ProjectAll of us at TPF have been saddened by news of the terrible earthquake that has struck the eastern province of Van in Turkey. Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute of Turkey estimated that between 500 and 1,000 people may have perished in the 7.2-magnitude earthquake.
