Osman Coşkun Kurtuluş has been the CFO of the Museum of the City of New York since April 2015. For nearly 20 years, before joining the Museum, he worked in different capacities as a Finance executive in the Non-Profit world, such as Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), Teach for America (TFA), Fortune Society, and Turnaround for Children. Osman Coşkun Kurtuluş is a native of Turkey. After living in England for a couple of years moved to New York in 1988.  Osman Coşkun Kurtuluş holds a BSc. in Economics from the University of Istanbul, Turkey, and an MBA in Finance, St. John’s University, Peter J. Tobin College of Business, School of Risk Management.

Osman Coşkun Kurtuluş lives in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, with his wife and daughter.
