Gulsah was born in Ankara and has been living in New York since 1995. She graduated from Macaulay Honors College at Baruch College with a double major in Political Science and Economics in June 2010. Since high school, Gulsah has had a strong interest in nonprofits and giving back to her community. She has completed internships at the Clinton Foundation, World of Children and Turkish Philanthropy Funds. In 2014, Gulsah obtained a Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York. She is an attorney practicing employment litigation at a boutique firm in New York and New Jersey. She speaks Turkish and French.
