Impact Areas

Goal: Empower girls and women through educational, financial and social resources.TPF supports:

*  Projects that prioritize women’s skill enhancing and provide financial means to women.
*  Organizations that work to ensure that local and central democratic structures fully include the leadership of women and that women gain access to the resources, information and decision making authority they need for full civic participation.
*  Programs focused on young mothers and children, both in their homes and in community-based centers supporting parenting skills and family planning programs.
*  Services that help to overcome barriers to self-sufficiency of women, such as public daycare centers that allow young mothers to work and afford childcare.
*  Organizations that provide shelters for abused and threatened women; especially the projects that work to eradicate such traditions as underage marriage and "honor killings."
