Aylin Z. Kim

After receiving her BS in biomedical engineering from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 2003, Aylin Z. Kim (Tashman) moved back to her hometown of Phoenix, AZ to work for Johnson & Johnson. As a pharmaceutical sales representative, she progressed through the company’s Management Development Program and discovered her passion for the healthcare industry. During college, she helped conduct clinical trials for The Sleep Disorders Institute in NYC and held various summer internships in Istanbul and Singapore.
 
Since 2006, she has been back at Columbia pursuing her MBA in entrepreneurship and is preparing to launch her own business upon graduating. She is VP of the Columbia Entrepreneurs Organization and sits on the Alumni Board of Phoenix Country Day School.

Aylin is fluent in Spanish and Turkish. She and her husband, Dr. Louis J. Kim, will be residing in Seattle, WA after May.
