The “Yes She Can” program is part of Partners for a New Beginning (PNB) initiative. It works with two local partners, Turkcell, the Turkish telecommunications giant, and Cagdas Yasami Destekleme Dernegi (Association for the Support of the Contemporary Living), a not-for-profit dedicated to increasing the schooling of girls in Turkey.

Together, Turkish Philanthropy Funds has deployed a mentorship program that connects Turkish girls between the ages of 18-21 to professional women in the United States through a structured framework that makes matches based on mutual interests. While the immediate goal of the mentorship platform is college and university enrollment, it has a longer-term purpose of increasing the number of Turkish women in the workforce, and improving gender equality in Turkey.
