TPF's Emergency Fund supports local NGOs that are the first on the scene when disasters occur since local NGOs know best what assistance is needed and understand the complex political, social and cultural context of a disaster.

The emergency phase of a disaster attracts most of the attention and resources. As TPF, we not only want to be there when a disaster hits but also want to be there to help people in need the most efficient and effective way. We believe that working with and supporting the organizations that are often hampered by lack of resources can prove mutually beneficial.
